Title: The Church's One Foundation

Primary Text: Ephesians 2:19-22

1. What is something in your life, perhaps a person, place, tradition, routine, or habit, that gives you a sense of stability?

2. When life feels unsettled or uncertain, what, or whom, do you tend to lean on for support?

3. What stood out to you most in this week's message, "Journey in Song: The Church's One Foundation?" What idea, image, story, or line from the hymn did you want to discuss?

4. Read Ephesians 2:19-22. What catches your attention? What do you notice about the way Paul describes who we are and what we are becoming together?

5. What does Paul's description of the church as a "household" or "dwelling place" bring to mind for you? What might it mean for us to belong to one another in this way?

6. If Christ is at the center of what holds the church together, how might that shape the way we think about disagreement and what matters most?

7. Read Matthew 7:24-27. What is the point about the two builders and what happens to their houses? What do you think Jesus is inviting his listeners to consider?

8. Read 1 Corinthians 3:9-11. What do you notice about how the writer talks about the church, its foundation, and the people who build upon it? What insight does this give you about what makes a church strong?

9. Can you think of a time when you were keenly aware of unity in Christ. What made that moment meaningful for you? How did that experience change you?

10. Where do you see the need for a stronger foundation in your own life right now? What might it look like to lean more fully on Jesus Christ in that place?

11. What is one hope or prayer you have for our church as we seek to be a community built on Jesus and shaped by love? What are your own prayer needs?
