Title: Keep Company

1. Who's someone you enjoy spending time with, even doing ordinary things, because their presence makes everything feel easier or lighter?
2. When have you felt like you truly belonged in a group or community? What helped create that sense of ease or connection?
3. What stood out to you in the message titled, "Watch and Learn: Keep Company?" Did an image or invitation begin to reframe how you think about belonging or faith?
4. Read Matthew 11:28-30 in the New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition (NRSVUE). This passage is our congregation's watchword. As you hear these words again today, how might they shape how we live and relate to one another?
5. Now read Matthew 11:28-30 in The Message version (MSG). How do phrases like "learn from me" and "keep company with me" inform your understanding of discipleship in each translation?
6. Jesus invites people not just to believe, but to stay close, to walk, to learn, to live in relationship with each other. What do you think it means to "keep company" with Jesus in everyday life?
7. Read John 15:4-5. How does Jesus' image of abiding echo and deepen the invitation to keep company with him?
8. Read Acts 2:42-47. What do you notice about how hospitality, shared life and spiritual practice are woven together in this early community?
9. Who might God be inviting you to "keep company with" right now? Whom might you invite to experience this community of faith?
10. How might your group pray for you as you consider what it means to know others and to be known by them?
